Dr. Suzi was born in Hospital Sultanah Aminah Johor Bahru. Her passion has always been in the area of academics and an expert area in Information and Communication Technology, especially in Computer Networking. Her journey in the academic started with Bachelor's Degree (2009) and Master's Degree (2011) from Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM) in the area of Computer Networks, followed by a Ph.D. in the area of Vehicular Ad hoc Networks from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) in 2017.

Her contribution to academia started in 2009 when she served International College of Yayasan Melaka (also known as Kolej Yayasan Melaka) as a lecturer for 2 and a half years (Jan 2009- August 2011). In September 2011, she joined USM to further her Ph.D. study in the School of Computer Sciences. During that time she also taught in UiTM Pulau Pinang from March 2014 until June 2014 as a part-time lecturer for Information Technology in Business MGT417 subject. She was also one of the Teaching Assistants (TA) in the School of Computer Sciences from September 2014 until December 2014 and from September 2016-December 2016. She taught Data Communication and Networking subjects for both terms. Then she taught at Wawasan Open University (WOU) from July 2016 until December 2016 as a part-time lecturer. In January 2017, after she finished her Ph.D. viva voice WOU hired her as a full-time lecturer until January 2018. She officially joined USM in February 2018 until the present.

She is also officially one of the MAKNA (Malaysia Cancer Council Malaysia) volunteers.
